What happens when you come in
- Ask at the counter. You don't need an appointment, and your GP or NHS 111 may also send you to us.
- The pharmacist talks with you in the private consultation room and checks your symptoms.
- If treatment is right for you, the pharmacist can supply it there and then. If not, they'll give advice or refer you to your GP or another service.
Cost
The consultation is free on the NHS. If you're given a medicine, the usual NHS prescription charge applies unless you get free prescriptions.
When to go somewhere else
In an emergency, call 999. If you're not sure where to go, or it's out of hours, call NHS 111 or use 111.nhs.uk.
