Starting a new medicine for a long-term condition can raise questions. The New Medicine Service gives you time with our pharmacist over the first few weeks, so you can get on with it confidently.
Who it's for
People newly prescribed a medicine for certain long-term conditions, such as asthma, COPD, type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure
How it works
When you collect your new medicine, we'll ask if you'd like to take part.
A couple of weeks later the pharmacist talks with you, in person or by phone, about how it's going.
We follow up again a few weeks after that, and help with any problems.
